With over 300 days of sunshine a year, Peoria has a lot going on for everyone! It is the center of Cactus League Spring Training baseball, with four Cactus League stadiums within 10 miles, as well as being the home base for the Seattle Mariners and the San Diego Padres. If sports aren’t your thing, spend a day in P83, the area’s well-renowned shopping and entertainment district. The area includes shops, restaurants, a cinema, and a fine dining theater experience, the Arizona Broadway Theatre. For the nature lovers, Peoria is home to two regionally accredited community parks and 33 neighborhood parks, including Rio Vista Recreation Center and Pioneer Community Park, both of which include urban fishing lakes and plenty of room to stretch your legs. Lake Pleasant Regional Park, in north Peoria, offers the perfect place for water sports and hiking.
